Visit to FFTEC

Just spent a quick min over at local shop, FFTEC. These are the guys responsible for the mechanical work done for the RWB Pandora One.
Their current time attack build. Can't wait to see this thing out on the track!
Evos for days.
Not your average BMW 335i.
Bad ass looking first gen El Camino.
Look for Mark's van shot by Fatlace's good friend Yu in the upcoming USDM Magazine.

Just dreaming about the amazing pork sandwich he's gonna soon eat.

Cars & A Gun Wielding Girl

Giving Ben some fresh air...
before putting it to rest.
Clean EG, local spotting.
This is Leslie. Don't mess with her.

Catching Up

I liked it better before the HRE's.
His name is Homer and he is easily scared.
My current hometown of San Mateo may be bland to a lot of the locals, but when you grow up as a suburban kid, this stuff looks pretty interesting. American architecture + typography? A win in my book.
The coast here in NorCal may still be pretty, but more than anything it makes me miss my beach bum days in SoCal when I went to school. Skimboarding all day with my friends, good times.

Introduction

Hello! My name is Jon Chow and this is the beginning of my personal iPhone-based photo blog. I'm gonna start posting my iPhone pics on this blog as I want my other blog ( JonChowPro ) to be more focused with my car related images. Not to say there won't be some car pics here, but this is more of a catalogue of my whereabouts and an exercise in photography than anything else. The guidelines I have set myself are as follows:

1. All images are taken with my cell (which so happens to be an iPhone 4S, hence the blog's title)
2. There is no post processing allowed, other than the settings used with my photo app (645 PRO) which almost always falls in either C42 or F4 film "filters". This exercise is meant to help me focus more on shooting/composition and less on editing. I would have limited myself to just the default camera app, but I felt that I was allowed to at least have a little creative control with the tone of the image. Speaking of tones...
3. All images will be exclusive for this blog and will not be images I've posted on my Instagram account (Jonnybimmer for those interested). I dedicate my IG to cars, design, or work-related images. I don't use my IG to keep track of what I'm up to, that's what this blog will hopefully do.

Cool, now that that's set, here we go!
